I’m Tom Maldonado. I build AI applications and automation systems that help people spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time doing meaningful work.
My experience began inside customer success and corporate tax teams, where I learned how fragmented information and manual processes slow people down. I started building solutions alongside those responsibilities, then took that experience into independent consulting through Maldo & Associates.
Today, my work includes manufacturing document automation, AI-assisted opportunity screening, and a deployed property-listing application. For LabClean, I built an application that checks for updated formula documents, reformats them, and prepares them for review. Their general manager reports that a task previously taking 40–45 minutes now takes less than five.
My approach starts with understanding how the business actually works, then building around the people who will use the solution. The goal is to help people fall in love with work again by giving them room to do the work that matters.
I’m based in Los Angeles and completing my B.A. in Economics at the University of Notre Dame.
